The Adams & Remers Private Client team is strengthened following a merger with sole practitioner and specialist private client practice of Susan J Midha, based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
The merger, announced on 26th June, has seen Susan Midha join Adams & Remers as a partner, bringing with her experienced solicitor Lisa Gibbins. Adams & Remers’ Private Client team now includes 3 partners and 9 lawyers and professionals.
Susan, who practised at the Bar and was formerly head of the Private Client team at City law firm Manches, brings with her a wealth of experience in wills, probate, trusts, tax and inheritance tax planning and a national client base.
Commenting on the merger and her appointment as partner, Susan said: “Adams & Remers is widely recognised and respected as one of the South East’s leading private client law firms. It has an enviable client base and I am looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of the practice and of the firm.”
Christopher Walker, partner and head of the Private Client practice at Adams & Remers, adds: “Susan and her team have an excellent reputation and a client base which is similar to our own. We are delighted that she chose to join us in preference to other firms who were keen she join them. Their arrival is further progress towards our aim to be the South East’s leading private client firm.”
Susan is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and formerly Chairman of its Kent branch, a member of The Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), and a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
