Adams & Remers is a “Superb outfit”, Chambers and Partners 2009

Sussex law firm Adams & Remers has received acclaim in the annual Chambers and Partners guide to law firms in the UK which was published last week. The guide highly rates the firm in its Private Client and Agricultural & Rural Affairs sections and singles out several individuals for praise.

The directory describes the firm as a “superb outfit” and Private Client department head Christopher Walker as “a popular choice for clients who appreciate his ability to explain even the most complicated matters in plain English”.

Commercial Property team Associate Katherine Haslam is “praised for her efficiency and thoroughness and clients add she can be tough and determined when necessary. She works on property transactions and her agricultural land experience continues to flourish”. Managing Partner and head of the Property Team Robin Illingworth is picked out as a “well known and respected figure in the property sector”.

And partner Matthew Seale who heads up the Company and Commercial Team is singled out as having a “calm, thorough approach combined with tooth and nail determination to make a deal happen”.

Managing Partner Robin Illingworth comments: “We are delighted with the recognition we have received this year in the Chambers and Partners guide and also the Legal 500 directory which was published in September. It demonstrates the hard work and commitment shown by staff and the level of expertise within the firm across a wide number of departments”.
