This summer Adams & Remers sponsorship activity includes:-
English Bridge Union Congress 2008
The Adams & Remers Mixed Pivot Teams Championship took place on 13th August, during the English Bridge Union’s 42nd Summer Meeting in August this year at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel. The event attracted record numbers of bridge players from around the world, including Adams & Remers Solicitor Geoffrey Wolfarth; a keen bridge player who has introduced many of his bridge player contacts as clients to his legal practice.
Geoffrey says “I am very proud that Adams & Remers chose to be associated with the friendliest of the Midweek events at the Summer Meeting which although very competitive is such a fun event for bridge players of all levels of ability and experience.” Geoffrey is pictured with bridge player Lyn Dempster celebrating a 'Champagne moment' awarded during the Championship.
Winners of The Adams & Remers Mixed Pivot Teams Championship
were Andrew Murphy, Bryony Youngs, and Michael Byrne, pictured with Robin Illingworth, Senior Partner of Adams & Remers Solicitors presenting the award (team-mate Ben Green not pictured). The winning team, all from the UK, represent some of the world's hottest young bridge players, who will also be competing in the World Mind Sports Games in Beijing this October.
