Adams & Remers funds St Peter & St James Hospice for a day

On Wednesday 5th March Adams & Remers Solicitors funded the running of St Peter & St James Hospice for one day at £3,300.

The North-Chailey based hospice provides specialist care and support for those living with progressive, life limiting illnesses from East and West Sussex. Their services are provided free of charge to patients and their loved ones. As a registered charity, St Peter and St James Hospice receives just 15% of funding from the Government, which means they need to raise over £1.2 million each year through fundraising – which means £3,300 every single day.

Adams & Remers chose to help support the hospice by funding their services for one day to help raise awareness of the hospice’s amazing work and to encourage other local businesses to also support their fundraising activities.

We were so delighted to be able to welcome Adams & Remers to the Hospice and show them some of the work we do here. The Business Initiative we have recently launched is working well and since July we have had 5 days of care funded by various businesses. St Peter & St James Hospice is also home to three donkeys and wild birds can be viewed from every patient's room

The Hospice is a special place, named after the founder's husband and son - James and Peter

Adams & Remers has chosen to support the activities St Peter & St James Hospice through sponsorship and fundraising over the next three years (at least)
