Pam Ing Sculpture Showing at Institute of Contemporary Arts, London

Sculpture 'One of the Few' by Pam Ing
Adams & Remers Trust Administrator, Pam Ing, is delighted that her sculpture of a gorilla head has been accepted by the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), The Mall, London for exhibition in June this year.

Although she hated art at school, Pam discovered her talent for sculpture after visiting a careers counsellor in 2004, who suggested she had latent creative skills.

Since 2005 she has attended sculpture workshops at Northbrook College in Worthing, with tutor Paulien Gluckman.

From her first piece of work, an Easter Island head, she has not looked back and gets great enjoyment from the creative process. She is currently working on an abstract sculpture of a wave in black African spring stone.

The gorilla head, titled 'One of the Few' will be shown at the ICA Mall Galleries from 24-28 June 2008, as part of an exhibition raising funds for the David Shepherd Foundation Wildlife Artist of the Year project. Pam says "I'm really pleased to have received recognition for my work - especially as I'm a relative novice".

'One of the Few' will be available for sale (and Pam enjoys a steady flow of sculpture commissions). Further details available from Pam Ing.
