Rule 9 applies when we receive referrals of business from, or make referrals to, third parties. Its purpose is to protect our independence and ability to act and advise in the best interests of our clients. We draw this information to the attention of all our referrers through our website, and our biannual newsletter ‘Full Service’ posted to our named intermediaries.

1. We do not undertake any financial arrangements with those who introduce clients and new business to us. Also we do not enter into any referral arrangements with introducers whose overall scheme or arrangement will not be in the best interests of the clients referred to us.
2. In situations where Adams & Remers are asked to recommend a client to use a particular firm, agency or business, we do so in good faith, judging what is in our client’s best interests. Adams & Remers does not enter into any agreements or associations that would restrict our freedom to recommend any particular firm, agency or business.
3. In situations where an introducer is representing the services of Adams & Remers please note that any printed, online or publicity materials concerning our firm or services need to be confirmed in writing with our head of marketing prior, in compliance with Rule 7 of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct and in line with our own brand guidelines.
