Adams & Remers has played a key role over the past seven years in helping motor dealership Harwoods to grow through strategic business acquisitions, including the most recent purchase of the Webbers of Basingstoke car dealership.

Harwoods has experienced significant planned growth since its Chairman, Guy Harwood, gave up his successful racehorse training career to focus his efforts on his motor business.

The latest deal was enabled by a team of lawyers across the Adams & Remers' corporate, property and employment groups.

"In the purchase of the Webbers business, we were given a tight completion deadline of four weeks from start to finish. We were very pleased to be able to meet our client's deadline. Harwoods were pleased with the resulting Webbers deal - in particular with Adams & Remers' ability to meet the tight timescale with good humour.

Harwoods, with a £186M turnover, is now a major organisation comprising top-name car dealerships throughout Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire; including Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Audi and Bentley. The addition of Webbers to the Harwoods stable brought new Land Rover and Jaguar dealerships, which has significantly extended the Harwoods brand into the North Hampshire/Surrey region and beyond.
