Intellectual Property seminar hosted by Adams & Remers and Frank B. Dehn & Co. in association with SEEDA

Adams & Remers solicitors recently teamed-up with trade mark and patent attorneys Frank B. Dehn & Co. one of Europe’s largest firms of patent and trade mark attorneys to offer business owners and managers a breakfast seminar concerning intellectual property – in particular the vital and practical aspects of copyright and trademark protection. Jim Brathwaite, Chairman of SEEDA, also chaired the event which took place at East Sussex National Golf Course.

Matthew Searle, partner and head of company & commercial law at Adams & Remers who talked about Securing value in your business looking in particular at ownership, protection and exploitation in relation to Copyright

Joseph Letang, partner and UK and EU trade mark attorney at Frank B. Dehn & Co., who spoke about why protecting your trade mark is important. Joseph provided an overview of trade marks, dealing with many of the common misconceptions, as well as the procedure for registering a trade mark.

Jim Brathwaite, Chairman of SEEDA, chaired the seminar and contributed through sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience of running many different companies.
