Our Dispute Resolution Team comprises experienced lawyers drawn from diverse backgrounds. This ensures that we are able to deal with a broad spectrum of matters – from contractual disputes to licence applications. We work closely with our colleagues in other teams within Adams & Remers to provide a co-ordinated and complete dispute resolution service.
We have a diverse client base, ranging from local authorities and a government agency to landed estates and receivers, as well as national companies, charities, trustees, family-owned businesses and individuals. We tailor our approach to suit the needs of our clients and to help find them an appropriate and practical solution to their legal problems.
To litigate, mediate or arbitrate?

We will help you to determine, from the outset, the most appropriate way of resolving a dispute, whether through litigation, arbitration, mediation or expert determination.
Often clients are keen to avoid court proceedings, if possible. In these circumstances we draw upon our extensive experience and keen negotiation skills to try and obtain an appropriate commercial solution. Alternative dispute resolution often provides a more efficient method for the settlement of disputes.
Where no resolution is forthcoming, or the preferred option is to litigate, you can rely upon our expertise and up-to-the minute legal knowledge.
