Secondments
Where a business seconds its employees to another business it is important to have a written contract in place dividing responsibilities between the businesses in respect of the individual being seconded. It should clarify, for example, any fee paid to the employer for the secondee’s services, who will be responsible for dealing with any disciplinary matters or grievances during the secondment and any changes to the employee’s terms and conditions of employment throughout the secondment.
We can help you to agree the terms of the secondment agreement with the employee and the business that they are being seconded to. We can advise you in respect of the arrangement and draft you an appropriate contract.
