Cathy Hoar - Assistant Solicitor
Experience:
On qualification, Cathy spent two years as a company commercial solicitor before specialising in employment law. This background, as well as the experience of running her own business, has provided Cathy with useful experience for dealing with all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law. She has also been involved in providing training on issues such as Diversity and Dealing with Disciplinary/Grievance Issues in conjunction with a drama learning and development company which uses role play to illustrate the application of the legal and business case.

Professional History:
Cathy's training at Richards Butler (now Reed Smith Richards Butler LLP) included a seat in the Paris office. After qualifying in January 1999, she worked as a company commercial solicitor with Gold Mann & Co and Davenport Lyons. There, she developed a strong interest in employment law which led to her joining the employment department in 2001. Cathy ran her own retail business for three years between 2004 and 2006. From July 2005 to December 2007, Cathy was a solicitor with Synergy Employment Law, a specialist employment law firm established by a partner and associate from Davenport Lyons. Cathy joined Adams & Remers in January 2008.
