Aisha has a wide range of experience in the non-contentious commercial and intellectual property field, with a particular specialism in e-commerce and data protection matters. Aisha deals directly with clients from a variety of industries, who range from individuals and start up companies to the directors, in-house and commercial departments of large private companies, and has been seconded to clients on a number of occasions.

Aisha’s practice includes advising on how best to protect intellectual property rights. She has particular experience in advising on brand strategy and the protection and exploitation of trade mark portfolios, and has drafted a range of agreements in this field, including intellectual property rights assignments and licences.

Aisha also advises on a wide range of commercial agreements and related issues. In particular, her practice includes drafting and negotiating terms of business, manufacturing, supply, distribution and agency agreements and advising clients on the impact of relevant legislation to these types of agreements, including EU competition law.

Aisha also provides advice on a variety of IT issues, drafting and negotiating a wide range of IT agreements including software licences and maintenance agreements. Aisha has developed a particular specialism in advising on compliance with e-commerce, distance selling and data protection law, and in relation to issues arising from the use of websites.

Aisha attended the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and the College of Law, York. After qualifying as a solicitor with Davies Arnold Cooper, London, Aisha worked for the London firm Wedlake Bell for 9 years before joining Adams & Remers in April 2011.
