Joe has broad experience in all aspects of commercial property and especially within the retail, investment and management sectors, acting for owners and occupiers; banks and developers; and retailers and landlords. He has developed a strong reputation for delivering effective transaction management and understandable advice in commercial property matters.

Joe has handled numerous acquisitions and sales of single properties and portfolios, both by private contract and at auction sale. He acts for banks in relation to secured lending work and deals with the property aspects of corporate transactions. He also has considerable experience in acting for off-shore property owners.

Prior to joining Adams & Remers Joe was at Thomas Eggar LLP and before that at Nabarro Nathanson.

Joe is often invited for expert comment in trade media, including articles featured in The Grocer and Shopping Centre magazine.

Joe’s recent transactions and experience include:

• acting for a major off-shore property investment fund on the sale of a mixed retail and office portfolio held in a variety of off-shore structures;

• more than one major property portfolio refinance;

• acquiring and managing retail premises for a major national retail chain and a national bank;

• acting for the owner of a number of retail premises for the grant of leases to national retail chains, with construction obligations; and

• acting for a FTSE 100 listed company in relation to taking a high value lease of its new head office in the City of London.
